We are a family owned and operated media company based in Taupō.

Hinana Media operates under our values of kotahitanga (oneness, togetherness) and abundance.

our directors are descendants of Ngāti Tūwharetoa & Tainui.

 

Our tupuna Te Heuheu, had a huge storehouse which sustained a large gathering of people in the 1800's.

​

This famous gathering led to the establishment of the Māori King movement, Te Kiingitanga in 1856.

​

Hinana Media was established by Co-Directors, Raiha & Tupoutama Paki in 2014 to tell indigenous stories through media content.
